And a compass pointing to where my dad lives as i dont get to see him as often as i’d like. Nearly finished and all done by the wonderful Sofie Simpson from Spear Studios in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

Permalink fuckyeahtattoos: My first tattoo (top) on my back and my brothers 4th (bottom) on the back of his right forearm, right after they were finished. Done by Cristina Bean in Whittier, CA. She’s amazing! His took one 6 hour session with small breaks and mine took two 2 hour sessions. We got these done as a birthday present to one another (mine March 8 and his March 2). We’re Indonesian and we wanted to show our roots. It’s a Balinese Barong, a dragon god that wards off evil spirits and protects good spirits. My brother customized it himself so they were special for the both of us. We’re also both Pisces so the sign is incorporated in there as well. My brother is very artistically talented and I love him so much. He’s helped me open my eyes to my artistic abilities as well. I see this as just another symbol of the bond we share.

Permalink fckyeahcutecouples: Being in a military relationship, I’ve learned that he will not always be around me as much as I want him to. Yes, I miss the small things we used to do, basically everything about him. But as long as we get to talk on the phone or have vidchat dates when he’s away, then everything is worth it. I know he’s doing this for our future and I would not have it any other way. Because in the end, it’ll still be me and him, still strong and still in love. Seriously, one of the greatest feelings is seeing each other face to face after being away for a couple of months. And I can finally say, once again, that I will be seeing him in a couple of weeks!
